Nose & whiskers

Before we attach the nose, we have to add a few whiskers. Do the following:

• Weave in three long pieces of thread through one side of the nose (I do it through one place),
• Make a knot and hide it inside the nose.
• Weave in the threads on the other side of the nose.
• Trim them to your preferred length. I also brush them a bit to get single strands.

Once completed, attach the nose to the body, in the middle between rounds 7 and 11.

Eyes & eyelids

EYES – I use the smallest safety eyes I have. They should be placed between rounds 11 and 12, two to three stitches from the white line. Remember to secure the eyes from the inside.

EYELIDS – Insert the middle thread from the magic ring above the eye (in the middle). Secure. Use the other thread to secure the eyelid on both sides. I like to stitch them a bit tilted to the side. It adds a bit of character 😉.

Paws & stuffing & ears

Attach legs & a tail.

• Paws – bottom of the body. I like to put them at the end of the round – it helps to keep them nicely lined with the body.
• Arms – at the same height to the sides between rounds 8-11 (or so).
• Tail – stitch in the middle of the back under the BLO round (round 4 or 5, remember to attach it horizontally, not vertically – in other words, flat).

Then stuff and finally close the last stitch, weave in only the front loops to make a neat seam. Once the last stitch is closed, attach the ears to the top of the head to the sides.
